About Papertriage
Made by ITBASS Labs, the software arm of ITBASS CONSULTING, SLU — Andorra.
Built for real file chaos
Papertriage was created by Javier Bassols after years helping enterprise teams organize their information. The idea was simple: take the discipline large organizations apply to documents and make it work for one person’s laptop — without a server, a subscription, or handing files to a cloud.
Instead of renaming every PDF, receipt, scan and download by hand, Papertriage reads what’s inside the file and proposes a clear, searchable name and the right folder for it. You review, approve, and it does the rest.
Privacy by design, not by policy
The AI model runs on your own device. In the default mode your file contents never leave your computer or phone, and we have no server that could see them. An optional cloud mode exists for people who want a frontier model, using their own API key — off by default and clearly labelled when on.
We’re based in Andorra, which holds a European Commission adequacy decision for data protection. For a product whose entire point is keeping your documents yours, we think where the company sits matters.
Where we are
Papertriage Desktop for Windows is in final testing and launches first; macOS follows. The Android app is in testing ahead of its Google Play release. For organizations with very large archives, an enterprise managed-cleanup service on our private AI deployment is open for waitlist.
